The public is encouraged to join us on Monday, August 24 at 6:30PM for a PPL live line electrical safety exhibit. This exhibit replicates the conditions of an electrical distribution system with live 7.2 kV electrical wires, utility poles and transformers. Knowledgable PPL staff will provide potentially life-saving information on how to handle electrical emergencies. Just imagine…you skid off the road, taking down a pole. Wires fall and begin arcing on the hood of your car. What do you do? Join us to find out the answers to this and many other important questions! There is no cost for this event and no registration is required.
