As I write this post I look out my window and see snow covering the ground…and the thermometer says 4 degrees! Luckily, there are signs of spring right around the corner!! For more than 50 years the Hickory Corners & Community Fire Company Spring Supper has welcomed guest from near and far with endless helpings of old-fashioned baked ham, dandelion topped with our famous hot dressing, fried eggs, boiled potatoes, corn and cake. This year’s meal will be served on April 11 from noon until 6:00 PM. The cost is $17 (kids under 10 are free) and take outs are also available. We are looking forward to warmer weather, great food and company, and seeing all of our friends and neighbors for this wonderful local tradition!
